DESCRIPTION:ART WORKSHOP: Beginning Stained Glass with Andy Olson\nLevel: ALL\nInstructor: Andy Olson\nOctober 19\, 2024\n9 am – 3 pm\n$165  \nLearn the magic of painting with light through stained glass. Students will learn the basics of stained glass in this hands-on workshop. Techniques being taught include cutting\, grinding\, foiling\, assembling\, soldering\, finishing\, and the proper safety steps to take along the way. Students will have 3 pre-drawn designs to choose from and leave at the end of class with a finished 8″ x 10″ stained glass panel. All levels are welcome\, no experience required\, all materials included. (Photo is an example and not indicative of the provided pattern). 30 minute lunch break.  Please bring your own lunch\, water bottle\, snacks.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 19th we invite you to celebrate Evergreen’s creative spirit and celebrate all of you\, who have joined ECD. Thank you for helping us build and develop into an organization that reflects Jefferson County Creatives. Thank you for advocating and bringing us closer toward state certification. \nTo show appreciation for your support\, two of our founding board members and current Advisory Board members Peggy and Peter Eggers are hosting a party at their mountainside home overlooking Evergreen Lake. This will give us all the opportunity to meet\, share our stories and get to know each other.  \nWe want to learn more about who you are\, what you do and your hopes and desires. Our creative community is taking the next steps toward meeting the requirements set forth by Colorado Creative Industries. ECD is looking to join with Colorado’s 30 existing certified Creative Districts. ECD’s goal is to develop opportunities\, like this one\, to support Creatives and sustain our arts and cultural heritage for future generations. \nECD offers an amplified voice to all those who work in or support the Creative Industries\, because the Colorado State Office of Economic Development and International Trade is listening and our State Representatives recognize our 150 year history as an arts enclave.  \nPlease join us on October 19th from 5:00 to 8:00\, and please invite Creatives that you would encourage to become a part ECD. Being a Certified Creative District would spotlight the foothills and arts related businesses. Every voice\, every struggling artist and successful business has a chance to say we are here and making things happen.
