He sings about skiing\, trail running and other outdoor recreation\, finding that most people who live here instantly relate to the music. \n“I get 90% of my inspiration from nature\,” Morris said about his overall life — not just his songwriting. \nGrowing up in Idaho Springs\, he began playing guitar at age 10\, then graduated from the University of Colorado in 2007 with a degree in music business. Since then\, he has been a touring musician\, promoter\, teacher and athlete — all of which have taken him worldwide\, teaching camps and workshops. When he’s not playing shows or skiing big mountains\, he works as a music promoter and talent buyer for festivals and events.
