DESCRIPTION:12 x 12 x 12 \nAn all-call exhibition featuring small works for every budget. \nMarch 28 – April 27\, 2024 \nSmall Works Bring Big Art Energy to Center for the Arts Evergreen \nJust as great oaks can grow from small acorns\, so too can great art collections begin with small works. That’s the thought behind Center for the Arts Evergreen’s new exhibition\, 12 x 12 x 12: Small Works\, a sizeable collection of scaled-down 2D and 3D works from 90 different artists\, hailing from nearby mountain towns to as far off as Idaho\, Montana and Alaska. From the standbys of oil\, watercolor and bronze\, to contemporary constructions of encaustic wax\, mosaic\, and assemblage\, there is something for every taste and\, importantly\, budget to be discovered. \nJoin us for the free public opening reception for 12 x 12 x 12 on Thursday\, March 28 from 4 to 7 pm. Many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their processes and inspirations\, and several will be presented with exhibition awards beginning at 6 pm. Happy hour refreshments will be available along with an assortment of light bites. Center for the Arts Evergreen is located at 31880 Rocky Village Drive\, just a few minutes off I-70 at Evergreen Pkwy. 12 x 12 x 12 is generously supported by the Colorado Gives Foundation and SCFD and runs from March 28 through April 27.
